- I am scheduled to join Automatic Control Laboratory at the ETH, Zurich, for post-doctoral work under Professor John Lygeros, sometime in Fall 2007.
- Finally defended my PhD dissertation, ``Studies on Stability and Stabilization of Randomly Switched Systems,'' on Aug 23rd, 2007, in Electrical
and Computer Engineering
at the University of Illinois at
Urbana-Champaign,
Illinois, USA, under the direction of Prof. D. Liberzon.
I am also employed as a graduate research assistant in the Decision & Control Group, Coordinated Science Laboratory,
UIUC.
- I work on Randomly Switched Systems as part of my research. My
primary interests are in Hybrid and Switched Stochastic Systems,
Inference Theory and Optimal Control.
- Completed M.S. in Electrical Engineering under
Prof. Liberzon's supervision in 2004. My thesis is titled,
``Stability of Deterministic and Stochastic Switched Systems via
Multiple Lyapunov Functions and a Comparison Principle.''
- Completed B.Tech (Hons.) from the Department of Electrical Engineering,
Indian Institute of Technology,
Kharagpur in
2002. My undergraduate project was titled, ``Swing-up and Stabilization
of a Cart-Pendulum System using Generalized Energy Control: A Hybrid
Perspective'', carried out under the guidance of Dr. A. Patra.
