I was born in Tangshan and got Bachelor of Engineering degree in Industrial
Automation (Mixed Class, 2002) and Master of Science degree in Control Theory
and Engineering (2005) both from Zhejiang University. During
my graduate study at Zhejiang University, I was jointly supervised by Associate
Prof. Weimin WU, Prof. Hongye SU and Prof. Jian CHU in the
institute
of Advanced Process Control.
Now I am a graduate student in the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign since Aug 2005; a member of the Decision & Control group in the Coordinated Science Laboratory, supervised by Prof. C. N. Hadjicostis to explore different aspects of Discrete Event Systems; also a graduate student member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) since May 2006.
